Japan, the United States and Australia are eyeing to conduct joint naval drills with the Philippines in the South China Sea on Wednesday. The move comes amid rising tensions between Manila and Beijing.

South Korea, Japan, and as a Filipino, we share a common desire for peace. Our main objective is to live harmoniously and thrive in prosperity, not engage in war. Because we have no desire for war.

However, the continuous display of military might and plans for future conquest by China and North Korea in the Indo-Pacific Region leave us no option. [We have no choice but to prepare for possible invasion by expansionists.]
