Restoration works of the Chișinău Circus have started

The iconic Circus building in the heart of Chişinău, #Moldova, is getting a much-needed facelift thanks to the #EU Confidence-Building Measures Program, implemented by @UNDPinMoldova .
This architectural gem has been recognized for its exceptional value and has officially been included in the Register of State Protected Monuments since May 2022. Soon, the #Circus building will be restored and preserved to national and international standards.
The Confidence-Building Measures Program doesn't just stop there. It aims to restore and conserve a total of 12 cultural-historical sites in Moldova, including the Circus building. By involving inhabitants from both banks of the #Nistru River in joint development projects, the program contributes to building trust and fostering a deeper sense of community.
