I'm sure you have some negative things in mind, but for the relationship's sake with your ex and your son you do your best to keep it civil. I'm a single mom and I have a lot on my mind but I would never bash my child's father in front of my child and the only reason why I bite my tongue so many times is to keep their relationship going. When there's a child involved then the child is the priority and not my ego or my ex's ego.

As a father of eleven I get what you're saying. I never knew what I was doing. Each child was totally different from the others like they all came from different planets. They are all adults now and as far as I can tell they all love me. I don't think there is any way you can screw up if you just try. And yes my wife and I parted ways about three quarters of the way thru. Just love your kids.
