JBang and the prisoner of the release

Distributing sofware is not trivial; and it is even worse when multiple versions of the same product are to be used simultaneously: identifying versions, generating releases, distributing, installing... In this lightning talk I am exposing a real use case for releasing multi-versioned components, and how JBang came to the rescue for distributing software with ease. We will talk about the how the requirements of the project lead to extremely uncommon workflows, and how simple (or not that simple) technologies available in the Java ecosystem took us from the blueprint to the working product in a blink.
