There IS a real-life version of this cutaway; the 1998 "Family Guy" pilot pitch. (Basically an early crudely-animated version of the first seven minutes of "Death Has a Shadow"). Sure, Stewie doesn't have the Cockney accent, but it's still very similar, with strange designs and animation (done by Seth MacFarlane himself) and not-as-good voice acting (Seth MacFarlane actually voices Chris Griffin in said pilot, and his sister Rachael voices Meg.)
