Midnasty is a Hip-Hop group based in Dumaguete City,Oriental Negros. founded in 2001. The group proudly represents their beloved city and country through music. They believe that music can keep the youth away from animosity and crime.
In May 2009, the group released its demo album called "Nastyboy's Manner" which became a local hit.
With the wonders of social networking, Greedy, one of Midnasty's main artists was discovered by a US based clothing company, Intity Clothing Co. They were impressed by his music, ideals and aspirations. He then became as the filipino connect/model of "Intity Clothing Co to the Philippines. He also collaborated with Los Angeles based music producer Speeshbeats and they have been making music since then.
The whirlwind success didn't stop because in November 2009 after winning in the MTV EMERGE contest, Greedy and Andez, the front-liners of Midnasty along with Fry and Lil Early signed up with Jeepney Music, a record company owned by world renowned artist Apl De Ap of the Black Eyed Peas.
With the help of Jeepney Music there is no doubt that Midnasty will rise above and become an inspiration to the youth, bringing pride to their beloved Dumaguete City and to the Philippines as well.
