It really doesn't come too much as a surprise. remember back in the day our American intro's were entirely different all together, adding a really well musical composition with sound effects as the scenes in them were playing out such as with Destiny, Eternia and Symphonia. and they turned out fine and just as good. a Guitar cover of this song sounds nice too, i like to have my cake and eat it too and having 2 musical options is a bonus.

I don't see what the fuss is, if anything I am enjoying this instrumental quite a bit. Great guitar work and a pleasant surprise at that. I welcome the heaviness here. Perfect!

To be honest i liked it when it got to 1:26, just gives a guitar cover of the vocals a different kind of flair compared to the original vocals

I don't know who I should be more pissed at, fucking Namco for not shilling out enough money to get the PROPER version of White Light released in the western version, or Superfly for not accepting a deal.
Probably Namco, because they are fucking cheap sometimes.

It's a little sad to not have the vocals, but I'm glad they at least have that sweet guitar. I'll probably just sing the lyrics myself each time I start up the game.

Interesting, can't quite say I was prepared for that one. I'm not sure why but both Fullmetal Alchemist and Sword Art came to mind... and that's a great thing in my book!
