‘fee-laar’👍🏻 flew my paramotor from home in NE Scotland to Kinloch Rannoch one long Good Friday in the early 2000’s, stooping for fuel at Roughpark Strathdon, Braemar for a top up, over the empty quarter via Fealar, and down Glen tilt for picnic lunch above Athol at the Loch there. Around 4-30 I headed up again and over the quarry and along Loch Tummel, and over the top of Schiehallion, descending down to Bunrannoch. Looked like a freshly cooked Lobster that eve, but a great experience, I remember seeing the hill walkers on both Ben-y-ghlo and Schiehalion, it was an azure day, red letter for myself. Glad you had good weather for your jaunt!

Great aerial shots of Loch loch! I’ve walked past Fealar Lodge back in 1989 when we crossed the Cairngorms one summer. The occupants were playing tennis on a makeshift tennis court which sat at an usual angle! We walked down to the Falls of Tarf, and then up to the hills beyond. Glen Tilt is a magnificent cycle ride. The last time we were there, they were filming Star Wars! Thanks for sharing.

Well done Rusty. I did this 3 years ago on a mountain bike clockwise which is easier as you gradually gain height up glen tilt and the last miles are down hill to the car. it took me and my pal 10 hours its harder than you think .thanks for another beautiful video of one of scotlands most beautiful glens. I was 70 at the time.

Some pretty remote and rugged country there, some of it more suited to a mountain bike as others have said. This vid shows the limitations of a gravel bike on more broken terrain. If you are into geology you'd enjoy the Berwickshire Coastal Path - it runs close to Hutton's Unconformity near Cockburnspath.

Great video, drone shots look amazing. I did a similar route last year and really enjoyed it, Glen Tilt section from the falls to Blair Atholl was awesome, great fun. Looks like you got a great day for it ☀️, new Endura helmet looks very cool 😎

I did that a few years ago on the mtb. It's a great ride in stunning scenery. Wouldn't do it on the gravel bike though. Fealar lodge from Pitlochry then down Tilt and back to Pitlochry along the cycle path could be an option. Nice drone shots, the hills look amazing covered in purple heather.👍

i did this route round loch loch on my mountain bike there is know path just sheep paths, go the route on your map, grat cycle though.

Just such a beautiful route, fancy it but not all that walking. I find it easier to cycle than walk but that did look steep on camera. Might do an out and back on the beginning and end.
