I can't get any one to give me a ride to meetings Probably why these folks stayed sober

Well November 8th actually happened on a Friday . My sponsor gave me a ride last Monday November 2024. I am sober and I do have a sponsor. My last real permanent sponsor was a guy named Joe back in 2005 . I've had plenty of people I have talked to about stuff both in the program and not in the program. I've always interpreted sponsor to mean the closed mouth friend it talks about in The Big book who you tell your fifth step with or most of your fifth step anyway.
