American Pole Barn - Episode #3

In this episode we got the basic rafters for one of the side sheds put on the barn.

We intend to complete the side sheds before we complete the center section of the barn, so that we can get equipment such as lawnmowers and tillers out of the weather.

This barn will measure 34 x 24 feet, and after seeing part of it erected, Bret is already wishing that he would have made it bigger.

He has decided to make a lean to roof on the back of the barn to cover firewood, and to cover a chicken coop, but that will be the only addition.

But, we have kicked around the idea of building a faux silo on the side of the barn that our granddaughter could play in. When she outgrows it, we could just use it for storage.

loved the video, especially the ending....nothing like firing a few rounds...loved it!

2x4 s are not strong enough . no less than 2x6 looks good but i would of went with stronger wood
