New Holland CR8.90 Vs Claas Lexion 770 Head to Head

This video is about 2 excellent combines, a New Holland CR8.90 Versus a Claas 770 Head to Head. The CR8.90 was on demonstration from R D Websters's Howden depot and driven by Richard Smith who i'm sure will also sell you a similar machine if you contact him at Howden.
The field is at Airmyn near Goole England and runs alongside an old council tip which provided a good windbreak to shield the drone from the strong winds until i needed the higher shots which proved nearly too strong for the little Mavic Air i use. You can tell the drone shook a little on a couple of the high shots.
We had to film the video in two halves because it rained heavily after the combines had got the field nicely opened out.
So me and the tractor and combine drivers piled into a Macdonalds just next to the site for an hour or so until the rained past over and the strong wind dried the standing corn incredibly quickly.
The New Holland with it's slightly smaller header went like crazy with a very fast forward speed and kept catching up the wider Claas machine. I could hardly fly the drone fast enough in reverse to get the close up cab shots due to the head wind pushing me back and Richard pushing the CR8.90 on as fast as he dared!!

Great video again! I have one question which combine produces better cleaner grain quality? Also can include the Massey Ferguson Ideal as well? Which one do you prefer to work with most?

Those are beutiful machines. But that claas just appeals to me more.

As an operator of a n.h 8.90cr for two seasons its quite capable of 15 ac/hr in 4 tons/acre of Graham. At 8 km/hr using a 30ft header.. far FAR cleaner sample then a claas ( I've used both). Plus losses are far higher...
