Melanie had a massive impact on me as a child and young adult, I've always admired her work ethic and her kindness. That she is still putting out music 20 years after her debut is testimony to her tenacity, talent, and passion.

I love Melanie's dance tracks and this one is amazing! Right on trend with the launch of Drag Race over in the U.K .
It fills me with an odd sense of pride that she is able to embrace the "pop" style that launched her career. We all know this period represented a hard time for her personally, so to be able to find joy (and embrace the high ponytail again lol) is testament to her strength of character. In the 00's I never thought I'd see the day she happily embraced the Spice Girls influence in her solo career but I'm glad she did.
