DVSA Theory Tests Cancelled due to Coronavirus

Just received this e-mail from the DVSA confirming all theory test have been canceled until 20th April 2020 due to Coronavirus.

Have you been effected by the DVSA cancelled the theory tests?

I passed my theory test and driving test in lockdown don’t let people get you down but I do feel sorry for the people that have to do the theory test again that’s bang out of order

It’s only gone and gotten worse. Was meant to have my test on the 19th March ( First day of cancellations) and they rebooked my test to the 15th June. They’ve now sent me an email saying the test on the 15th June has also been ‘postponed’ due to Coronavirus as well, so it’s going to be longer than 3 months till there are anymore driving tests unless you’re categorised as a key worker :(

I’ve currently booked my theory three times and had 2 cancelled, next been on the 3rd of June. Applied for a key worker test as I’m a mechanic and am self employed (my usual class 2 driver has had to have time off due to being at risk from Covid 19) this leaves us unavailable to recover response vehicles and staff vehicles which we offer to shift workers. Only immediate key workers ie ambulance drivers are aloud a theory test at the current time. 🤞🏻 for my next slot

I’m a massive petrol head and have been since as far back as I can remember, and as soon as I’m old enough to Drive this happens😂, that’s my luck

I have booked for theory on Monday at 23rd of March but didn’t get any email for postponed.

Iv passed my theory test and it's still counting down mots have been given an extension why not do the same for people who have passed there theory this is how they get all there losses bk I gess hopefully things get sorted out

At least after the 3rd April after then they can do what they want but when i need to take my testtt!
