GOODBYE JULY - HELLO AUGUST!!

The start of a new month is literally my favorite time to get all my ducks in a row and start the month off strong with: a deep clean of our space, meal planning, grocery shopping, reflecting on last month's budget before setting a new budget, seeing how I did on last month's habits & goals before setting new ones, and a formal ~plan with me~ so I can take a look at the month ahead all at once.

My goal for august is honestly to save up enough for house renovations and work more overtime 😂 i wanna pay off my credit card debt... something more personal though would be see my brother and his family more and spend more time with my husband. July was just way too hectic.

Just a thought but I would've brought in the laundry before cleaning the floors. Less walking on them after they're clean...and maybe a runner rug would be perfect for that area to protect the floors

Omg my job would be hard on the smaller desk. I wish though because than I could travel more and still work. My job technically expects you to use 2 monitors with a docking station to connect them to the laptop. Honestly I only use 1 monitor connected directly with the hdmi to laptop to save space since I don’t want the desk to feel crowded. I find that if I’m good at organizing tabs/windows than I really don’t need the extra screens but i leave it connected as much as I can. Sometimes I do work from other spots in my apt and just use the laptop because I don’t like sitting at a desk and facing the same wall all day.
