Endocrine disorders are common comorbidities for people with cystic fibrosis. Endocrine comorbidities include bone disease, diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, and hormonal changes in aging. Up to one-third of adults with CF have bone disease and up to 20% of adolescents and 40% of adults with CF have diabetes. Identification and treatment of these disorders are important components of caring for patients with CF. This session explore screening options for cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, bone disease, and menopause.
