Lutheran Worship and why we do all the crazy things that we do in it. Pr. Borghardt teaches us that Lutheran Worship is all about receiving the gifts of God which he freely gives in Word and Sacrament.

The more I understand the more I appreciate the liturgical worship Service in the Lutheran Church ⛪. God's peace be with you

This was a very good one, I feel that the subject of why we do things the way we do them is often left untouched, which leads people to think there is no reason, which couldn't be further from the truth.

The Truth - feeds me. It's what pastor Borghardt continuously delivers so passionately. Thank you pastor.

went to a very traditional LCMS out in the country growing up, always found it difficult to explain our services to others, looking forward to those videos!

When you say crazy things do you mean like in a Pentecostal church? I had to go to one of those when I was a kid and it's why I never go to church but I met a nice Lutheran lady so I'm looking into it. Do yall get the holy ghost and run around all crazy like that?

The only crazy thing I see is pastors playing intercessor between Jesus and fellow Christians.

1 Timothy 2:5 gets forgotten about and tossed aside.

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Nothing wrong with liturgy, provided you leave room for the Spirit to move. A lot liturgical congregations are so boxed in that the Spirit can't moved. "When He hosanna's us, when He comes to us…"; hosanna comes from the Hebrew ""Hoshi-ana", which means please save. You claim that you carry on the ancient faith yet you sprinkle infants. Scripture doesn't support infant baptism.
