This man has my utmost respect for his ability and knowledge of the Hellenic culture and language, and as such he must be given Hellenic citizenship and The Grand Cross of the Order of the Phoenix be bestowed on him by the President of Greece ASAP.
The Order of The Phoenix is an honour bestowed by the Greek government to Greek citizens who have excelled in the arts and literature, science, public administration, shipping, commerce, and industry. It is also awarded to foreigners who have helped raise Greece's international prestige.

Κύριε καθηγητά σας προσκυνώ .! Πολλοί Έλληνες που διδάσκουν ελληνική φιλολογία ακούγοντας σας πρέπει να ντρέπονται .!! Είστε πολύ Έλληνας από πολλούς Έλληνες . Όχι μόνο γιατί ομιλείτε άριστα την ελληνική γλώσσα αλλά διοτι διδάσκεται ελληνικό πολιτισμό.(Από ένα Έλληνα που ζει στην Γερμανία και πασχίζει τα παιδιά του να μην ξεχάσουν τα ελληνικά)

I don't care where this Papa Christos restauranteur was born. Have you seen ethnic Italian restaurants in the US or everywhere else? Have you seen their décor? Their furniture, their pictures on the walls, their curtains, every little detail. They smell and feel Italy. Compare them to this guy's restaurant. Look at the sign outside. There gas stations with smaller signs for God sakes. I quess I should be satisfied that there wasn't any donkey statue right in the entrance... That's why most of the Greek American students we met in our studies in the US, they were pretending to be Italians. There were ashamed of the country their parents came from. Sometimes they were ashamed of their own parents too. -- - -- I remember this kid, Sophocles, son of the owner of the restaurant I was working in New York. He was a college student too and when we went out together on night, I noticed he was pretending to be Italian to his college friends. After talking to him I understood where the problem was. To cut a long story short, I invited him to come to Greece in the summer and stay with my family. I took him to literally hundreds of places and some islands too. The guy went crazy. He thought of Greece being like Mexico. Upon returning to the US, he tattooed the word GREEK on his arm and changed back his name to Sophocles. I'm proud for what I did but I have to say that it was his parent's job, not mine !
