In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Adalsteinn Brown (the dean of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto), Matthew Anderson (the president and CEO of Ontario Health), and Dr. David Williams (Ontario’s chief medical officer of health) discuss Ontario’s updated modelling data concerning the possible impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the province. Health officials are projecting the province could see up to 1,000 new cases a day by mid-October. The modelling does not take into account recent public-health measures introduced by the Ontario government. The update comes as the province is experiencing a second wave of COVID-19.
