softWerk Visualization Team: Christoph introduces himself

SOFTWERK VISUALIZATION TEAM
Among other things, the Softwerk Visualization team at EDAG PS deals with the development of virtual reality and augmented reality applications which allow the virtual programming of robots without the use of any hardware. Every day, exciting tasks and varied projects await team leader Christoph Ketzler and his team, the VR Paintshop project for instance. This involved converting a real paint spray gun so that it could be used as a controller in virtual reality, and therefore learn to paint virtually. This created a visualization solution by means of which digital and therefore invisible objects were made visible, tangible and experienceable.

In addition to the constant stream of new technical challenges and exciting tasks, the enjoyment of working together is also the order of the day, as all the team members share and live out a passion for 3D visualization in their jobs. If nothing else, this also creates a pleasant, informal atmosphere in the workplace.
