When this car was first released, I was expecting a modern version of a Mclaren F1, so at first I was a bit disappointed by the shape. But once I put that aside, and started seeing the Speedtail for what it is, I saw that this machine was something uniquely special. The styling and purpose grew on me every day and now I can't stop liking it. Of course then Gordon Murray announced the T50 so it was a double win.

I just wish Mclaren would use the same dark orange color for their test car as that of their 765 LT.

Not sure why everyone seems so determined to hate this car, just because of the figures. It's a beautiful car with unique design, something you'll never see anywhere else.

I really think Mclaren should build a version of this car that can break 300 mph. I know that’s not really in the plan for established reasons, but Mclaren has always been ones to push the limits, and I think they can and should go where few have gone.
