Building 10 Ton Fruit Press

Hi my Friends, in this episode I'm making 10 ton fruit press (apple cider press) to make our own apple juice. We have about 30 apple trees in our garden, so I decided for powerful hydraulic press. Enjoy this video and if you like it than please share/like/subscribe!

Really enjoyed seeing your helper, I made one when my kids were young, nothing as nice as yours. Mine took about an hour to build, used old balling wire to weave several slats of wood together made from an old pallet, used the heavy boards of the pallet to make a frame, a car jack for the pressure. Made about 5 gallons in two hours (including building the contraption. A heavy pillowcase for the bag to hold the smashed apples (used a relatively clean leaf shredder, hammer mill to chop the apples). It tasted great and no one died. I think the special flavor came from the worms in the apples.

I built a similar press, but instead of spending days fabricating, I bought 20 ton harbor freight press for $180. Works just as well. the round plate and the wooden blocks - i did the same thing.

Главное в этом прессе руки, а они у него – золотые. Если что сломается или доски сгниют – он не будет сдавать агрегат свой в ремонт, и те не будут вить с него деньги за то, что какая-нибудь железяка или деревяка из-за рубежа очень долго идёт и стоит полцарства. Сделает всё сам, глазом не моргнув! Ну и, конечно же, знания и инструмент. МОЛОДЕЦ!!!

Congratulations Michal. That is a good press for household use and the best thing is that you have made it with the little help and assistance of your lovely child. Here in Hungary we use a grape press for pressing fruits. The hydraulic press is a good idea. Viva V4!

Lovely work. I pressed apple cider with my wife's parents, they had a hand-cranked press. I bet hydraulics make it easier!

Hiiii, hello from Serbia 🇷🇸, awsome thing u made, I must tell that my father made same for me 20 t, with inox cilindar, and I make cold pressed wallnut oil and hazelnut oil, and beet root juice, carrot juice and much more...
