I think he and Norman Bates would have been great friends

I just watched this movie, and this guy is creepy as hell. This movie should be enough evidence to put him in jail.

Does know one else think that Talese had a moral and civil obligation to report Foos to the police!?
Rather than being like “hey ya know what? This would make a great book, I’ll hold tough for 36 years, just sit on this real creepy ass story of some extreme ongoing invasion of privacy of 2000+ paying customers a year”👌💰

Was he not imprisoned?? Because theres no way he can openly discuss this?!?!? And why did the investigator wait 25 years, for what?

Just finished this, the plot twists towards the end are amazing. Normalized voyeur's a bit too much and it was more about the telling of the story than the story itself, but absolutely compelling

Gerald foos: “nobody is ever going to be able to do what I have done”
Journalist: “yeah”

This happened to my mom once. Not this guy but someone watching her. She was at a little like motel and she felt like someone was watching her take a shower and she looks up and in the corner hole was an eye. She said the police came and everything. so yeah this stuff is real

Should have called it "The Creep and the Creeper".

Surprised all comments failed to mention how creepy the wife really is though...

The book was really interesting - I hope this lives up to the text without glorifying the Voyeur. It looks pretty stylized.

Just watched it and I'm reading a lot of these comments and it's crazy how many of you don't understand basic law. Either way this was a good doc.

You’re telling me this guy directly CAUSED a murder and pretended like he knew nothing about it all these years??? And he insists he’s not a creep??? And the journalist is a creep for looking too!

so the guy chased attention for his voyeurism by writing to Talese & doing the book--yet gets upset at public media attention at the NewYorker article.. dude, what did you think was gonna happen ! weirdo

Crazy to believe that I use to live in walking distance to where this use to actually take place..not to mention James Holmes who shot up the Century 16 Theatre during the new Batman movie at the time who lived even closer to me while I was still living there (2 min walk) 😳 crazy ass shit. Lived there 2011-2013.

Omg this exactly like my life! I am a victim of voyeurism too... Constantly watched from my bedroom to my toilet...
