Anime: Call of the Night

Plot: Kou Yamori is a run-of-the-mill middle school student who struggles to comprehend the intricacies of love. Disenchanted with the expected norms, he forgoes attending school. His lazy behavior disturbs his sleep pattern and, consequentially, he takes to wandering alone in the desolate streets at dusk.
One night, Kou crosses paths with an unusual girl called Nazuna Nanakusa. Nazuna subscribes to the belief that people cannot fall asleep at night because they are dissatisfied with their day's proceedings and must release their inhibitions before they can rest. Nazuna offers to assist Kou in remedying his insomnia and cordially invites him over, encouraging him to share her futon. Uncomfortable with the idea, Kou feigns sleep when, surprisingly, Nazuna bites his neck, unveiling her true identity as a vampire!
Kou assumes that he will turn into a vampire after being bitten, but the transformation protocol is not that straightforward. He must be bitten by someone whom he truly adores to alter his status. Motivated to abandon his banal mortal existence, Kou sets himself a new objective: he will fall in love with Nazuna and convert into a vampire.
