0:46 The controls on the Actives aren't touch sensitive. I have a pair of these. Instead, the buttons are under a rubberized coating, so you press the buttons through the rubber. It still gives you the physical feedback of pressing a button and clicks when you press the buttons. It appears this was to improve water resistance and instead coat the whole exterior in rubber (minus the mics).

I am very happy with the Jabra 75 elite active and will get the new Elite 7 Active since quality phone calls is not so important for me because I have no friends and nobody calls me :). Seriously, Jabra is my favourite brand and I will get the Elite 7 the moment it is available. Nice review.

It's a very difficult choose for me. Ideally, I wished that Jabra would have come out with a model that combined the ShakeGrip coating of the Active with the bone conduction sensor of the Pro. That said, sense I am forced to choose between the two, I am leaning toward the Jabra Elite 7 Active. Personally, I have always struggled with wireless earbuds staying in my ears and so the Active would seem the logical chose even if I am only going to use them mostly for making and receiving phone calls. That said, most likely I will wait on a few reviews to come in to see if the ShakeGrip makes much of a difference compared to the pro or if the bone conduction sensor technology improves call quality all that much over the Active.

0:47 This is the first I have heard that the Actives will have touch sensitive controls instead of physical buttons. I'll see what the reviews say about each type when they are released in October.

I think you have a mistake. I read somewhere else that there was physical buttons and not touch on the active variant as well ?

Thank you for this clear and precise information.

The Elite 7 has multipoint and both earbuds can be used separately (ie, only use the left one). Is this the same for the active?

Good review. I had four pair of the elite active 75t and they can never get it right. Every pair I received was malfunctioning. The only reason why I got the Jabra in the first place is because they had multipoint connectivity. Why did they take it away? I believe it's a stupid move on their part. So I've heard that the seven Pros do not have multipoint connectivity but you can also use them individually I haven't heard anything about the active 7 Series. Do you know of that has multipoint connectivity?

I was using Elite Active 75t from last 2 Yrs,
Those were fantastic in performance, i used them for online classes 5-6 Hrs, but I never feel uncomfortable, I used them for Running purpose, they were great in fit.
but in last week the Left one stopped working.

Please suggest,

how may i repair them ??
Or
Or which is better tws to replace them 7 Pro, Active 7, or Suggest some other brand??

Or

should I go for the same model again??

Pls response

Appreciate your video. Very helpful. I had the 75t, which were great for exercise. My concern with the Active is how well the capacitive buttons work when damp. With the 75t, I never had problem with responses, because the button was physical, but, for example, with my Sony WF-1000XM4 the least bit of dampness or even very humid air can mean the touch controls don't register (or sometimes register when I am not touching them). Do you know how/if Jabra addressed this issue which is native to capacitive technology?

I have the 75t and I love them but I always sweat them out after a while. I've had to get them replaced 3 or 4 times. So I'm gonna try the 7 Active and hopefully the IP57 rating will fix this problem

Are the control schemes the same? I know with buttons there are generally more options than touch.

Wait, the 7 active has touch buttons are you sure? That's a big difference, I've seen reviews saying they both have physical buttons. Nvm they're physical

I usually use them to workout and to commute by train, so should I buy two models? which one to prefer over the other?

You gave false information. The buttons on both are identical and work the same way. The Active button is covered with the rubberized material but underneath is still a physical button.

At 1:40 , clearly they DO not and WILL not have the " same sound quality" as indicated at the start of this video its how they sell each piece of tech separately, pro and active, pro is for people who want to sacrifice the possibility that they will fall from your ears, as they were intended mainly for calls as marketed earlier 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️💸 I love buying, iv been conditioned to but ....please cmon man, litrally just told us, pros are for ppl who want to use them for phonecalls, active are for, ACTIVITY, which means the phone call quality is poop like on 65ts + all the sound quality is sacrificed for nice sound quality in music, you can't have both, unless you buy both as they won't integrate them into one bud 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
