First and foremost, thank you Mikey and Yarnspiration! I'm really looking forward to adding clue 10 to both of my afghans. At first I thought this afghan wouldn't be very warm, but with all t he layers it's quite warm. I have learned  new stitches and I am feeling confident in knowing that I can tackle patterns that appear to look to difficult, for learning how to read a diagram is very helpful.

After 5 years I'm finally getting back to this project, I was on week 9 so close to finishing but life got in the way and between breaking my wrist, caring for my elderly mother who had dementia and then dealing with cancer myself, I'm back and taking care of my crochet orphans. I had forgotten where I stored my written instructions but was able to find the tutorials online. Thank you for keeping all your tutorials online, no matter how old the instructions are. Now it's almost done and I love working on it again. I love the colors I selected and love using different stitches and techniques. I love to crochet! Can you tell I'm really happy!?! Thank you again Mikey and Yarnspiration.

Thank you, Mikey, very much.  Had I seen a picture of the afghan first would I have made it?  No, because it is not my style.  Am I glad I did?  Absolutely!  I enjoyed learning new techniques.  I enjoyed the anticipation of a clue every week and to see how that clue materialized.  I think it looks like ceramic tiles.  I appreciated all the time, effort, hard work, and perseverance that was required on your part.  It was a wonderful experience.  I am going to sell my afghan at a crochet sale run by the activity department where I work.  The proceeds will help to bring clean water to people in Tanzania.  I'm going to do this again with baby yarn and colors and a smaller hook - can hardly wait to start.  I guess it's my style after all!

Mikey! You are the best teacher! I am still having trouble with the braiding and especially the 4 corner joining but you said we still have 1 month, so I'm praying I will get the joining and then get on with the finishing by the time you have allowed us. Just want to thank you so much for all your hard work doing this for the rest of us! You are the best ever with a big heart and patience of a saint! Love you and all the Crochet Crowd team! ♥

I'm still stuck on Week 4, slowing catching up.  Happy with my first Afghan attempt, love the pattern.  Hopefully will be finished by the competition deadline, if not it is still a great project.  Thank you very much for getting me back into Crochet.

This has been an awesome adventure.  I finished mine a few minutes ago and love it.  Going to make another one using different colors.  Has anyone else noticed that adding the last "revolution" that the edges are slightly rippled?

Where do I go to post my picture of my afghan that I finally finished? I would also like to see pictures of other afghans that have been finished.

Since starting this great Mystery Afghan, I have thoroughly enjoyed it, however my Afghan using a Susan Bates and my tight crocheting, at this point I am going to complete it using DC's in place of the SC's thus it will disqualify my submitting my Afghan, I measured my Afghan when I finished Clue 9 and it only measures 32x42  and I want it to be just a little larger.  My square was the 4" size to begin with.  But to submit knowing I am changing would not be fair and I would/should get disqualified anyway.  BUT, I will send a photograph to show you the difference:)  Just for grins and giggles!!  Will be looking for another to start.  And I did start and complete the Yes, Yes, and I did complete my very first entrance into your mysteries....that was the one where we crocheted the Monster, I finished him giving him curly white hair, and old....and my 3 yo Great Granddaughter loves him!! So please be sure and Advertise LOUDLY, so I can join in another soon!!  Thank You for all your work and teaching us new ways and stitches!!   YOU ARE THE TRUE YARN BOMB!!!

I don't understand why my picots are so big and sloppy looking!  Tried to crochet tighter but didn't resolve.. using the same hook the pattern called for and same one I have been using right along through whole time. Very frustrated!!
