Christmas is a purely Christian holiday from it’s origins. Many people have peddled the fallacy that Christmas was a holiday established merely to appropriate pagan festivals in an attempt to convert pagans to Christianity! Many Christian celebrations are pagan, including Xmas. The winter soltice has been celebrated since ancient times long before Christianity. Just as Easter is too and both are indisputable factcs with so much evidence to support, so its rather silly and pointless to dispute it.

Not enough to say "just not true" you need to deconstruct the idea and you cant because many traditions do predate christianity. Unfortunately the world did not start 2, 000 years ago. Many civilisations existed before jesus came. One tradition will always absorb a previous one

And it is the other way round too that there are too many pagans celebrating Christmas. Shops, Amazon and businesses selling their stuff and my neighbour has Christmas lights up but hates all religions, whom is she worshipping at Xmas 😅

This should be interesting. Christmas was created and paganized by the Roman Catholic Church. Real people involved throughout history. Jesus was most likely conceived in December.

So the fact around Christmas day the sun is at the lowest point in the sky for 3 days and rises on the third is pure coincidence. Thats just coincidence with the Bible story of jesus being in the tomb for 3 days and rising on the 3rd?... Christmas is a pagan festival dresssed up as Christianity.
