Thank you for mentioning the "wipe-ability" of the patent leather. I am a preschool teacher and all sorts of things get on my shoes during the day. I was going to get a classic color as my third pair. But after hearing about your reasoning behind the patent choice, I may change my mind.

I always, when possible, invest in long-lasting, high-quality products.
I was born with a very wide front of my foot (across near the Big toe) and a high arch and instep - with a normal-width heel. I have not found a single pair of heels that fit me and are comfortable. So I love TIEKS ballet flats!
For most shoes I wear size 7 1/2 WWW - EXTREMELY difficult to find. TIEKS suggested that I try the Classic in size 8. I did and it FIT & did not require stretching!!! :^) It stretched to fit my foot after a few days.
I have the Soft Pink and Cobalt Blue Classics. They look great and are comfortable.
I'm glad you mentioned that the Patents don't stretch well. I may stick to the Classics or get a good wooden shoe-stretcher.
Any suggestions for a nice psir of chunky-heeled pumps that come in my size?
