I can hardly believe the beauty and history of such a lovely place. It's right out of an old storybook from one's childhood. This type of place must always be protected from destruction and/or change. I don't even want to say "Great Britain, " because it's much better described as an ancient little village in England. Every town and city in nearly every country in Europe has changed over the past 50 years from the way they were for hundreds of years -- in my view, not for the better, so I hope this one stays the way it is now - close to how it's been for probably hundreds of years. Some things should be preserved forever.

I love the peaceful music at 4.26 and the way you have cut out harsh airplane and tourist noise. It's a few romantic moments of looking at those picturesque buildings. A little escape from responsibilities like home maintenance which must be ongoing in reality in those old buildings. I have looked at this video 5 times. I love it. Thank you Kirsten. I love England! My husband and I used to visit twice a year and every other year we spent Christmas there! We would rent self catering cottages. We would stay three weeks at a time.
We met and maintained so many wonderful families and friends. My husband died last year, so I won’t be making many trips unless my children and/or grandchildren are interested in coming with me.

This was beautiful! In March of this year I had the privilege of taking my Mom on her first trip abroad to England (we're from the states) and we made a quick stop in Castle Combe!
