Two scientists recently shared the Nobel Prize for Chemistry for transforming an obscure bacterial immune mechanism, called CRISPR, into “genetic scissors” – an editing tool for re-writing the code of life.

The two female Nobel Prize winners accomplished this through collaboration – which is exactly how two Canadian scientists – also women – are working to crack the code on two incurable diseases – a type of congenital blindness in children, and a deadly form of brain tumours.

The Bible talks about those who bit this apple at the end of days. The lust to never die meant that they got what they were hoping for...until they realized they couldn't undo their stupidity. The Word of God says that they tried to dash themselves against the rocks to end their horrific experience, but nothing was ever able to work. Hell. Eternal hell: a choice THEY made, not God. God has warned. God has made a way for us to be forgiven because of what Jesus the Living Christ has done for us. They use His Name as a byword, a curse word. How foolish is that. God spared us from the first apple bite. He cannot save you from your rejection of Him. You want to be your own god? Have at'her. And everything that that brings with it.

I choose Jesus. No regrets.
