I went on a couple school trips, but the one I remember most was going to Italy. I remember falling absolutely in love with the country, the landscapes, the history. I visited San Gimignano, Siena, Firenze, Pisa. I saw a lot of churches and cathedrals and tbh I probably was the only student that actually gave a damn to it because I'm not religious, never been, but I've always loved religious buildings and the stories they had to share. And truly, if I had to go back to one of my school trip, it would be this one.

The bus from Florence to Siena was so easy! It’s direct and takes you much closer to the city center than the train. We took it in February at the recommendation of our tour guide and it was perfect. You purchase the tickets right at the bus station which is right next to the train station.

You should come to Siena when there is the Palio, it's a traditional horse race but I assure you that when you see it it's pure magic

Love Lucca! That Anfiteatro was a Roman ruin that the locals just built on top of!

Flew into Pisa, took a bus/ taxi to Lucca. Florence, Sienna, Vineyards and lots of amazing wine. I did rent a car, but not required, especially when imbibing 🍷🍷🍷! Kaci would be my #1 choice for my next trip!
