We Opened a HARDCORE ANARCHY Minecraft Server. This is what happened.

What if there was a Minecraft server with no rules set to hardcore mode? That's exactly what I did. I ran a HARDCORE Minecraft server with NO RULES for 6 months, or 13,000 Minecraft days, and I'm going to show you all the insane things that have happened on this server, all with my voice. Yep, that's me talking in this video for the first time ever. Not a friend, that's me.

Check out my sponsor, Sparked Host! You can use my discount code "Horizon" in checkout for 33% off your first month for affordable and high quality Minecraft server hosting:

Also I wanna apologize for the bad audio. I edit videos, and I've literally never edited audio or recorded any on my own, not to mention it was done during me moving houses meaning a lot of objects being moved in causes acoustics to change rapidly, and since I'm inexperienced, the audio is a bit inconsistent. I think the audio gets better closer to the end though.

I also really wanted to get captions out by launch, but it'll come in a few days later, sorry!

A bunch of players from this server helped me gather data for this second iteration of the video. Check them out:

it’s actually a great story that the first person to go for the egg died and the person he saved was the one to actually execute the mission. Great server and a great video. Good idea all around

The melon ring is so wholesome. Really shows people also care about each other on anarchy servers.

Ah yes, the melon. A mainstay food source on anarchy servers. It's almost heartwarming that on servers where the whole purpose is to show change, creation and destruction, the one thing that has stayed the same is the melon.

Horizon doesn’t upload often, but when he does, it’s a charm.

I always thought you were an underrated channel, but this is a whole other level!

Keep it up!

God, your editing has increased a lot. The voice acting was pristine and the into credits were astounding. You seldom see editing like that in a YouTube, let alone a Minecraft/Gaming one.

This is truly insane. I really want to join this server now, given I’ve played 2B2T for years without ever dying.

A tip: ‘/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ air replace birch_sign’ would’ve removed the birch signs, assuming you selected the area with the signs

I always liked the idea of hardcore anarchy servers. Most servers, when you kill somebody, they just come back and it becomes an endless battle. But in a hardcore anarchy server, when they die, they're gone from the server. It really turns into a true survival experience where people have to be smart. Of course, you have to be smart normally, but here's it's not a suggestion, but a requirement.

just played the server, spawned right next to the melon ring when the video was talking about it, saw joncar66 and some random guy named miclea and he shot me and ended my less than 1 minute in the server lmfao

This was so entertaining to watch. I can't wait for the history to be made. wars that actually have consequences and bases that are worth to protect. I really hope this idea will stick around and will become big.

Fun fact, on a single-player server, you can actually circumvent hardcore death by choosing to spectate the world, going into settings, toggling cheats on, and changing your gamemode to survival.

1:34 In Poland we used to have a popular 'hardcore' server a few years back. You got banned when you died and the bans got increasingly longer the more times you died. I think max was 2 weeks so not awful. Was P2W though as you could buy unbans

Lightningbulb was a true speedrunner. He was unlucky and died from the enderdragon, the final boss.

My heart melted for the melom ring and spawn cafe. And my heart broke for spawn cafe grieves and other beautiful bases that got grieved. And my heart felt a moment of victory for the ender base that was made grief proof.

9:50 When there’s a will, there’s a way. The reason they make this stuff is because the server has enough people for their work to be truly appreciated, but not big enough for it to be griefed immediately

Just joined the server. It's an awesome idea, and I hope it lasts long enough to get some history of its own.

Horizon: I left the nether roof enabled because the server should be as vanilla as possible.
Also Horizon: Oh yeah by the way, hacks are allowed!
