I LOVE THIS KNIFE! 🖤 Cold Steel Nightfall Tanto

The Cold Steel Nightfall Magnum Tanto IX has a 9" blade and is 14.6" overall.
It's made from premium CPM 3V steel, which is harder & has more wear resistance than both D2 & A2 Steel.
It comes with a sheath that holds so firmly that it cannot be removed using both hands, unless removed a specific way. This allows you to carry it inverted for a lightning quick draw!
(when I bought it I saw in the reviews that some guy was using a hammer to get it out of its sheath & couldn't figure out how to draw it 😂)

I have one of the original 1980s Cold Steel Tantos, when they came with leather sheaths. Best knife in my collection and quality leather.

Im sad they discontinued the magnum tantos with the traits shown here -
No more 9 inch magnum tanto, only 7.5 and 12 (have the 12 in san mai from taiwan)
No more black dlc finish
No more 3v steel, except the 12, maybe theyll come out with it

All they were was a sandblasted version of a regular tanto blade.

Did you know that the tanto tip was carried during peace times so not to offend hosts or the locals.
During war or battles the tip got changed back to its original design.
