REDFISH Madness! in Charleston, SC Inshore Fishing

Catching redfish every cast in Charleston fishing for over-slot redfish and some to take home. Fishing in Charleston is always tough with the high tide swings and the amount of live bait that is currently in the water. The month of May brings some of my favorite fishing in the Charleston area. A few nice, and warm days really get the fish active. I was joined this trip by Topwater Charters and he put me on the fish so much that my arms hurt.

Can confirm, this is an amazing experience! I was able to connect with Topwater Kayak Fishing(thanks to 1st Down) and had amazing results, as well. It's hard to compare the rush of the fish running and having to keep it clear of potential breakoffs. Those fish are tough and smart. 10 out of 10 would recommend anyone trying a Topwater charter and cannot thank 1st Down enough for helping make this happen! Keep up the great work!

Nice work! Is the water that far up the river salty? Have a 14ft skiff with a regular steel trailer and I am concerned the water will cause corrosion but want to get my rig out there. Appreciate the help
