I bought this quiet mouse because my senior cat suffers from FARS and the sound of a normal mouse clicking sets him off into seizures. So Logitech didn't realise how accurate this commercial would be having a happy cat in it. Thanks for thinking of our cats Logitech, whether you realised it or not 😻

I like using my left hand for the mouse and the right hand for number input on the right side of the keyboard. Better ergonomics having my right arm extended more to the right hurts my shoulder more. I suffer from RSI so I am unable to use keyboard/mouse for very long.

I have the previous version of this mouse, and it is not that great.
The feel is great, the build is awesome compared to other vertical mice, BUT...

Vertical mice often have a pinky rest area, so that your pinky doesn't drag along the surface as you move the mouse; Logitech's does not have that.
The scroll wheel is basic, compared to MX master's... why is that ?
The back / forward buttons are too high.
The wrist angle isn't that relaxing. For proper relaxation your palm needs to be facing up, with your thumb being the highest. Now, your wrist IS indeed more relaxed, but it it not like other vertical mice whiuch have a much more pronounced angle.

Logitech, you are super close to the perfect mouse; Engineers, speak to our managers, make them realise what a proper vertical mouse is; marketting managers, those who want vertical mice will look at the above features. You can charge 50$ more if you have them all, and they do not cost you 50$ per unit to implement.

I have had my vertical mouse for years nbow. This version is lazy AF. whoop de doo, you changed the surface on the palm rest, who cares. you moved the DPI change buttonś location, nobody will notice. All of this cost you more engineering time than changing the shape of the mouse. For nothing.

How about a good pro version? The MX vertical is pretty bad compared to the other MX mice. Poor build quality, and it doesn't even have the infinite scroll wheel.

Personally, I would like the mouse to have an even greater inclination than 57 degrees to be more comfortable for my hand. And I say this after using some years of ergonomic vertical mouse of other company that has a similar inclination.

this mouse only has 5m switches. the left/right clicks will die in a year. poor quality.
