Inverse Trigonometric Function | Part 2 | One Shot | Class 12 | MATHS | By SONU SIR
In this sessions, Sonu Sir will discuss the chapter 2 Inverse Trigonometric Function. In math, a relation is a relationship between two sets of numbers, while a function is a special type of relation where each input has a unique output:
Relation
A relation is a collection of ordered pairs that describes a relationship between the first and second elements of the pairs. Relations can be represented using a table or mapping diagram.
Function
A function is a relation where each input has exactly one output. Functions are a special type of relation where no two ordered pairs can have the same first element.
To identify a function from a relation, check to see if any of the x values are repeated. If not, it is a function. If any x values are repeated, and the corresponding y values are different, then it is a relation and not a function.
Functions can be represented in three ways: algebraic form, tabular form, and graphical form. The notation for a function is f(input)=output or f(x)=y. If you are Class 12 aspirant, this video is for you.
