Thanks for these videos! I had used the web app for two group NHST equivalent and had downloaded BEST but it wasn't until the walk through here that I understand how to make things actually work (spoiler, I didn't have rjags installed).

I met error when I install rjags packages even if I have installed all the things that u mentioned.i even downloaded home brew and Xcode. Do u know how to fix it?

Isn't Bayesian Inference supposed to take in some priors first (being this the difference to frequentist t-tests, etc.)? I did not see anywhere where you entered these priors or any parameters, so I wonder how different results are if you do Bayesian considering no priors... just a question. Thanks for your videos!

Hi Andrew - this is a long shot but I'm desperate. I need to install JAGS and MatJAGS onto my Mac 10.12 so I can use a model in Matlab. I have downloaded everything and have Matlab R2017a. Do you have any idea how to link JAGS to Matlab using MatJAGS? There are some directions online but it's all for PC and very confusing. Any guidance would be great.

It wont install the JAGS (rjags) package under the newest version of R (3.40)

I tried it today... I downloaded BEST package, from R, version 3.1.1...then called the BEST package into my RStudio...I tried to run the examples given in the BEST package example.... I had called in mcmv and rjags already.
It didn't work...didn't run.

Could this have been due to my having left out the way, is this JAGS an r package, or an autonomous Bayesian links the JAGS an R, both in my computer, in order for modeling to proceed?

Is JAGS a freeware, prof?

Could you please use 'folks' or 'you people' instead of 'you guys'? To us it is a male gendered word, GUYS, which means you fellows, ie men. I want to encourage more women to use R. So I need you to limit the gendered language and open it up, is it OK!!
