Today I’m going to be showing you how to make an easy Arroz con Pollo which is a skillet Chicken and Rice recipe that comes together quickly. I used sofrito and sazon to season the chicken and rice, which will give you the best arroz amarillo -- yellow rice. All you do is season the chicken, brown it, then toast the rice, and steam cook it in a skillet until it’s fluffy and ready to eat. Ingredients:
Ingredients: Chicken
2 lbs Chicken Skinless Thighs and Drumsticks
3 tbsp Homemade Sofrito
2 tbsp Chicken Bouillon Cube (Sopita)
½ tsp Cumin
1 Lime
1 tbsp Sazón con Achiote
Olive Oil

Ingredients: Rice
2 cups Long Grain White Rice
½ White Onion
½ Cubanelle Pepper
2 Garlic Cloves
1 tbsp Chicken Bouillon Cube (Sopita)
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Spanish Olives
Fresh Cilantro
Olive Oil
1 ½ - 2 cups Water

Girl!!!! I made this recipe with the giant rice pot because I doubled the recipe knowing that I would want to be a glutton and used boneless chicken thigh pieces(for my husband and toddler) as well as the bone in leg and thighs (for me)!!! This is one of my all time favorite dishes, I’ve tried so many recipes from YouTube but I’ve never made yours, I just made arroz con pollo last night but I just made my own recipe using different ideas from other recipes yours is next on my list as it looks so good, I’m not a professional chef but I do cook a lot and I can usually tell from a recipe if I’ll like it or not

I love that you do it this way. Toasting it was the only way I was able to learn to make it right. My grama tried to teach me boiling the water then adding the rice way but I always messed it up. Had to find my own way. Can't wait to try your recipe, especially with the new and improved sofrito. Thank you for your channel as a Dominican who loves food is hard to find videos like this

So I came across your video after my failed attempt at Spanish chicken pot rice. Made your version tonight, and GIRLLL. Omg. Let me call you Sis. Because this came out AMAZING!! I used bone in chicken thighs for this recipe with the skin on. The rice was perfect with the crispy bits on the bottom. Everything full of flavor in every bite. Even my picky boyfriend loved this.
