Gah! Too many developments.... Can somebody hep an AI noob here trying to keep up? I know DallE, I use and love Midjourney. Now I even managed to install Stable Diffusion locally. It works. Yay.
What is Dreambooth and Dreamstudio, the difference between them and can I install them also locally?
One of my aims is to make something like the music video "Take on Me" happen. But I understand that´s more style transfer than prompt based image generation.

This could be interesting but instead of just adding more features maybe they need to improve their AI model first? I have a dream studio sub as well as midjourney. I barely touch stable AI because I find its algorithm isn’t great. I have used the same prompts in the three platforms ( Dall-E as well)with some frequency and the fidelity of Midjourney is always superior while their team is one tenth of what stable diffusion is. Extra features added to a platform that is only mediocre wont have me using it more. I hope they continue to improve the modeling along with these interesting features. Building a set of API’s and tools on a weak foundation doesn’t make a superior toolset.

I don't understand how they plan to monetize. Will it be donation based like blender? That would be... so awesome. As an artist I'd throw them a little cash as long as they keep it free. I could easily see the graphics industry and movie industry donating too. This could easily become the core engine that drives all their great apps. I'm probably just dreaming and being too hopeful .. selling user data and charging subscription fees are a tempting thing for a company. But a man can dream.
