120. Bhagavad Gita | Chapter 10 Verse 7-9 | Swami Sarvapriyananda

Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches Verse 7-9 from the Tenth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. This series of talks unfolds the highest truths of Vedanta through the study of "The song of God".

🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10 Verse 7:
एतां विभूतिं योगं च मम यो वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ।
सोऽविकम्पेन योगेन युज्यते नात्र संशयः ॥ १०-७॥

etāṃ vibhūtiṃ yogaṃ ca mama yo vetti tattvataḥ
so’vikampena yogena yujyate nātra saṃśayaḥ

🔴 He, who in truth knows these manifold manifestations of My being (Macrocosm) , and (this) YOGA -power of Mine (Microcosm) , becomes established in the tremorless -YOGA ; there is no doubt about it.

🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10 Verse 8:
अहं सर्वस्य प्रभवो मत्तः सर्वं प्रवर्तते ।
इति मत्वा भजन्ते मां बुधा भावसमन्विताः ॥ १०-८॥

ahaṃ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṃ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṃ budhā bhāvasamanvitāḥ

🔴 I am the Source of All; from Me everything evolves; understanding thus, the wise endowed with loving consciousness worship Me.

🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10 Verse 9:
मच्चित्ता मद्गतप्राणा बोधयन्तः परस्परम् ।
कथयन्तश्च मां नित्यं तुष्यन्ति च रमन्ति च ॥ १०-९॥

maccittā madgataprāṇā bodhayantaḥ parasparam
kathayantaśca māṃ nityaṃ tuṣyanti ca ramanti ca

🔴 With their minds wholly resting in Me, with their senses absorbed in Me, enlightening one another, and ever speaking of Me, they are satisfied and delighted.

Thanks always. But the last two videos have been riddled with
commercials in the double digits. I don’t know about YouTube and this has never been an issue on this channel before but if it is a channel related cause then maybe posting these videos into the main channel instead of the archives would fix

Not so. Swami Sarvapriyanada claims that in all the theistic religions God is described as "a maximally perfect being" but that is not accurate. There is a distinction between classical theism and theistic personalism. In classical theism God is not _a being_, even a maximally perfect being, but rather being itself. The classical theist, as much as the Vedantist, can say that God is being, consciousness and bliss (sat-chit-anada). One only has to read Gregory of Nyssa or Thomas Aquinas to know this.
