Everlong in Drop B is something else

Drop B is one of the best tunings period. It’s such a full bodied sound. I played in a band a few years back that was almost exclusively in that tuning and we definitely had the best tone out of our whole local scene as a result

I've always thought that Everlong has a jazzy sound and this video confirms it. 0:23 sounds bossa-nova-ish. Dave was inspired while writing such a great song.

When I was a kid, I used to experiment with the little electric tuner. Going to Drop D, Drop B, etc. This was the first riff I learned fully, and its also how I learned about scales. This video brings back so much pride, and core memories.
