Definitely like the idea of stitching things up at defense and allowing Demecos coaching show. Focus on offense this year. Still have to firsts next year to focus on defense once Young and the offense has a year together. Also love trading away Cooks and trading for Aiyuk and picking up Quentin at 12. I would also consider picking up Gibbs since it was one of Young’s top targets. So you have Young, Quentin, Aiyuk, Nico, Metchie, Dameon pIerce and Gibbs. 🔥 🔥 Let them play together for a year then you use all that draft capital next year and HUGE cap space next year to put the defense together.

I think that the Texans need to at least float the idea that if the Colts outbid them for the #1 pick that they will either take Anderson or Carter or trade out of the #2 with Seattle for their #5 and another (possibly a second round or even Seattle's additional first.) pick. This would put Seattle and Arizona in position to grab Will Anderson and Jalen Carter. I think this will help the Texans have a stronger negotiation position than the Colts.
I think the Bears want to trade down from 1 but they don't want to miss out on Anderson and Carter. If they feared it they very well could accept Houston first offer for the #1 pick without even entertaining any offers from the Colts.

I’d just take will Anderson at 2, let those top 4 QBs come off the board, take bpa at every other choice or trade back. Try to pick up more draft capital for next year. Tank again, get to the number 1 pick and draft Caleb Williams. You’re going to suck this year anyway.

Well first they need to keep their head coach in place. Second they need to find a quarterback third. They need to find a defensive lineman 4th. They need a corner.

IDK. I like CJ Stroud, especially if we can go get Marvin Harrison Jr. next year. Pick defense at 12.

Having a defense that won’t have you down multiple touchdowns can also be a good thing for a qb.

Don’t want qb every game having to just Play like that and fade prevent defense fourth quarters.

You guys know nothing about my team and that's understandable. You definitely can't count on Brandin Cooks to be back. We have a black hole at 5 positions - C, DT, WR, TE, and MLB. Pitre made AND missed a bunch of tackles that he had no business even being in, but that's how bad our front 7 was. Maliek Collins is a decent 3T but letting Roy Lopez start at 1T (Nose) was a huge mistake and the biggest reason for the god awful run defense imo. Paul Quessenberry had to be the worst Center in the league so literally anybody will be an upgrade for the O-Line. Special Teams was amazing thanks to Frank Ross who was retained. Both units should see decent upgrades just due to better coaching quality. The defense would benefit from a new scheme or even just an update, Lovie had no interest in even trying to disguise what we were doing. Offensively we never used motion or went hurry-up so they would also benefit from just updating the offense.

Give you a hint, if Bears do this of trading away then they will not get Jalen Carter nor Will Anderson. Bears will be left off… lol. Houston will draft a defense if the QB is not the right fit. So Chicago will be in a question. Remember the Head Coach are both Defense oriented so Texans can change their draft….lol
