Sajid Javid has told the House of Commons that health workers carry a 'unique responsibility' because of their close contact with vulnerable patients.

'Whether it's in our care homes or our hospitals... the first duty of those working in health and social care is to avoid preventable harm to the people that they care for,' he said.

Mr Javid said two consultations had been run, the first considering whether social care workers should be forced to have vaccinations.

It is rape to put something into someone's body without permission.
It is blackmail to give an ultimatum.
Both illegal. Take action, fight it in court.

A petition asking that all MPs had to be vaccinated was rejected last year on the grounds that it would be illegal.

So the very people who got clapped every Thursday, at the beggining of the pandemic are now told “no jab no job”. The very people who were told they would be risking their lives are now told “no jab no job”.

Beyond disgraceful. A complete and utter betrayal.

It should be compulsory for all MPs to be hooked up to a lie detector machine before they speak

I bet his mates are already preparing the private medical service that will profit from the disruptions caused by shortages in NHS staff.

Or lose their job?? That’s coercive and in 2015 the UK create laws to prevent such instances:

“Coercive or controlling behaviour does not relate to a single incident, it is a purposeful pattern of incidents that occur over time in order for one individual to exert power, control or coercion over another”-

I'm 58 and always been proud of my country, but I'm afraid this makes me ashamed of it...

Its more dangerous for patients to have no staff than to get covid. Vaxed people can still pass on covid so spare us the pretence of caring and protecting others.

So why didn't Johnson wear a mask when he was hiding in NHS buildings yesterday?

They came up with "Protect the NHS" now people need to stand up for them and use that slogan against government

I'm an NHS employee, I've had both jabs and am due the booster soon, this turn of events concerns me a great deal and it should concern every citizen in the country. The government is far overstepping its reach with this decision and it only paves the way for more "mandates" in the name of public health in the future, if they see they can do this then they will feel empowered to encroach on your lives and make decisions on your behalf to an even greater extent. This is not about a vaccine anymore, this is about our very right to choose. I only hope and pray that a legal stop can be put on this.

NHS struggling with staff shortages any way. Thus will make no difference with transmission. Many will just leave. Porters, admin ect. Be even more broken

Anyone still under the illusion this is about health, needs their head examined. This is all about control.
I was talking to a consultant from Northern Ireland recently, he stated that the NHS is on it's knees, that people he should be seeing on the NHS, he can't see, so they are paying to see him privately. Also, people are travelling from all over the Republic of Ireland to the North to pay for private medical care. Even private patients now have to wait 6 months to get an appointment and many private consultants have stopped taking on new patients.
Making this toxic state injectable compulsory will be the final nail in the coffin for the NHS, as many staff will be forced to leave.

Lol, protect the NHS by sacking the workers. Round of applause, anyone?

If millions clapped for them. Let's hope millions stand up for them

So to clarify. According to .gov there's 425307 doctors and nurses in the NHS. There are currently 110000 who have refused the jab. Now given their profession I'd say its safe to assume they are refusing for a good reason. Now we've been told since day one that we need to protect the vulnerable and the NHS (which is constantly on the brink). So can somebody tell me how sacking a quarter of the workforce is going to prevent the NHS being over run? and if they do get sacked how this will help the vulnerable ?

If the jab was so critical to save lives then how can a 12 week delay be proposed and acceptable. Absolute rubbish but the British people deserve this for allowing this lie to continue for almost 2 years. This is medical and political tyranny against an unsuspecting public.

None of us signed up to be threatened by our government.

In the US, the federal court froze the mandates saying they’re unconstitutional, same could happen in the UK
