Destiny 2 - THIS COULD BE BAD! Our New Power Is Taking Control

Taken Power. We’ve known that powerful gods can wield this power: The Witness, Oryx. But it seems even regular Guardians can too. Sloane was partially Taken, and now she’s teaching the Guardian to wield this reality-bending capability. Today, we discuss how she resists being torn from her blighted state and how the Guardian is growing more powerful, overflowing with Taken Energy.

It's actually impressive how fast our Guardian is able to adapt and learn what he needs. Strand, the thingies in savathuns throne world, controlling being taken, our different subclasses and prismatic

As soon as they give us a taken subclass i'm back in this as my daily game and I'm never switching off of it

Personally, I don’t think the last darkness subclass will be Taken. I think, it will be a combination of Taken, and Nightmare energy. To form a proper themes on emotions. Specifically, hate, anger, fear, despair. And tormenting our enemies with it. A scarlet red or sickly yellow energy, different from Resonance, but still something that could psychically, pshcologically, spiritually and emotionally torture our enemies. Turning that hate into power. And Guardians have born much hate from loss. Like Drifter’s hate to murder the Dread that killed Eris. I believe this, because it was mentioned on Luna, that Eris’ research on Nightmares “suggested a power of darkness untapped”.

Like it or Not, The Guardian, our guardian 1 of the 4 last remaining Iron Lords, is Oryx's Heir. By our hand, Oryx was Slain. The power to Take, the power to Control the Taken is much as our as any other that is aspected in the power of darkness.
Why else is the Winnower now talking to us more openly now?

Taken power is probably gonna be soemthing Different from that ever power the Winnower gifts us with. Resonance was the power of the Witness, the Winnower's first knife. The guardian has proven to be something more, something greater then the Witness.

Ive said this for 4 years that Taken will be the last subclass. Giving us the ability to use a grenade and take an enemy. Minons on the battle field as we command the power of the deep

Now, bear with me. What if... It ain't a new subclass?
What if they pull an extension of Prismatic? I mean, there are icons for both transcendence and its grenade for a reason. What if they add a new... Taken meditation and... Blight grenade or something? Idk.

This has to be some of the best of destiny’s storytelling. In hindsight season of the deep was really good, and only brought down by lightfall’s catastrophic failure(s)

I feel like our guardian, since they are the strongest guardian ever, would be able to control the taken without issues

While a Taken Subclass would be interesting… I don’t think it would be given to us in an Episode.
Remember, all of this will disappear come Frontiers assuming it’s just renamed seasons.

So if we got a Taken Subclass, it would be in Frontiers because otherwise the method to get it would be sunset.
Either that or everyone would still have it but the story for it would be gone (in game at least).

It's not going to be what we think. Bungie loves dangling stuff in our face, and when they give it to us, we feel like we're chasing something that we can never quite reach. And the love from time to time giving us that op feeling we want than ripping it away. Man, i want to love this game again so bad. But the lore is great, though.
