The naturalistic, mundane, lightly overlapping dialogue between Smithers and Chalmers at the end is pretty novel for an animated show of this period. It's the kind of thing that Family Guy and other shows would start to really latch on to (and arguably drive into the ground) several years later.

I love the end of this episode when Skinner is riding with Willy on his tractor with 3 new bikes to give to the 3 bullies he forgot that were locked in the school basements. Skinner says we give them the bikes, and nobody sues! Then Willy asked "what if they're dead sir?" 🤣🤣🤣
