That ending was so soul crushing. The fact that they were defeated instantly and that the whole thing was spun to make them sound like the attackers is so easy to believe because it's Homelander. And its Vought.

They missed an opportunity in that scene where Cate turned off Sams feelings and sam was talking to his imaginary brother. Cate can read minds so it would have been cool if she could hear Sams internal dialogue with himself and talked to imaginary Golden Boy.

Gen V is good 😫 such well thought out story telling and characters you want to watch. LOVE that almost no one predicted how this season would end.

15:23 I’d have to revisit the season too for stronger evidence, but I think the strongest evidence is his use of weed. He did it way beyond recreation. Maybe he was just grieving the whole season and self medicating, but considering what we now know about his powers, I think he may have used weed to self medicate from the pain of using his powers.

I like the Sam and Black Noir comparison. It could be a cool plot line if they brought Noir back as a mystery and then reveal it’s Sam.
