Some wars in history would get so intense that sometimes the bullets would fuse together like this.

The fusion of the bullets looks so incredibly satsifying

If this scenario happens in a movie, it always seems satisfying. But if it happens in real life, it's terrifying. Anyway, it's great to see this guy posts two shorts in a day, his work is magnificent.

That actually happpened in WW1, in the Battle of Gallipoli. The bullets went straight through each other and fused together.

There's an example of this in the museum at Gettysburg. Two .58 cal. Minie Bullets met exactly head-on, and fused, but because of the differences in the bullet molds that cast the slugs, it was obvious that one was from the South (two lubrication grooves), and the other from the North (three lubrication grooves)
I have always thought that that gob of lead says it all about that war.

Fun fact: in world war 1, this happened with 2 rifle bullets, kinda, except they collided going 2 different ways and one bullet went into the side of the other one

This situation happened a lot at Canakkale where UK and France was trying to take over Canakkale from Ottoman Empire. So they could help to Russian Empire. At Canakkale, there was lots of bullets collided each other.

Went to WW2 museum as a kid for school, they showed us two bullets that collided/fused together and said it was 1 in a million chance of happening, one of the rarest things to happen and asked if we could think of anything more unlikely, I shot my hand up and said “3 bullets colliding”. Still one of my proudest moments.
