Those remaining loyal legions gave everything they had till the end. I love the loyalist legions, but what the Imperial Fists, White Scars, and Blood Angels did was purely heroic. There are a few wild cards in there, too, like Vulkan. Good Episode!

Alpharius sure loves to play his mind games of 4D chess; blowing up the the primarch statues leaving only his and Dorn's as a clue to whom behind these attacks.

The Solar War was vital in stall and hurting the Traitors before the Siege of Terra, and make no mistake that Dorn made every possible defense as possible against Horus and his traitors kin, but it was almost impossible to defeat Horus so close to his goal without great sacrifice.

Alpha Legion was kinda underrated in HH, they had the most impact of all the traitors besides the Iron Warriors

Sigismund and Loken fought the same enemies, Aximand, Kharn and Abadon.
2 were defeated and the 3rd survived only by the aid of the Chaos gods

the only mistake Dorn made, tho my fav legion and Primarch, was not unleashing the mighty power of the IF psykers, imagine multiple batallions of fresh and rested psykers

Just out of curiosity. Which astartes chapters has had the most shocking betrayals, where space marines turned traitor? I heard of cases where it happened with the salamanders, but in what other chapters did it happen, where you would've expected it the least? Post Horus Heresy up until the 41st millenium

Welp you had 1000 word bearers and maybe 5000 emperor's children whom only raided outside the palace for slaves. Maybe 2000 night lords who got annihilated on day 1 by Ralderon and his 1st company blood angels. Maybe 10000 sons of horus. 25000 death gaurd and 15000 iron warriors. Those are generous numbers if you've read all the lore from the muster at ullanor/Armageddon before the attack on terra. Oh and legio titans at half strength after beta garmon.
