"Dear Learners, at 4:27 of the video, we say that the ESP32 S2 doesn’t have a CAN bus. This is wrong as there has been an update. Espressif has included TWAI instead of CAN, with the same features. Please check out our reply to Dirk Abel’s comment below to learn in-depth why Espressif added the feature later in its official docs."

ESP32 is a low-power and low-cost 32-bit microcontroller launched by Espressif in 2016. It is a dual-core processor with wi-Fi and dual BlueTooth modules and is used mainly in IoT based projects.

In 2019 Espressif launched the latest addition to the ESP family called ESP32-S2 and claimed that the S2 is more ideal for IoT projects.

In this video, we will be comparing ESP32 with ESP32-S2.

The S2 has a CAN Bus. Take a look at the TWAI Interface.
