The way this video resonates with me!! I’ve also realized how much of a hypocrite I’ve been when it comes to sin. It was like I was also holding myself to such a high standard while pridefully thinking I could never fall into the outward sins that I’ve seen others commit - even though I had private sins in my own life (especially in my mind, control issues, lust, & people pleasing)! Then upon realizing my sin, instead of confessing and truly repenting, I’d beat myself up so badly with the same “how could I” mindset that you mentioned even though God doesn’t do that to us. But there’s been so much freedom in resting in the fact that I’m imperfect and that’s okay as long as I’m not abusing God’s grace. It has also been a huge help to cut out so many different artists and tv shows - same as you. Thank you so much for sharing your story! It’s comforting knowing someone has had a similar path but is choosing to continue pursuing the light of Christ.

Yes Andrea! Amen!! I loved every minute of this video! I've been working on my convictions as well and it's a process. Sometimes I'll read The Word and be like "oop, dang if you're gonna say it say it" 😂 feeling really read by my own convictions. It's a beautiful thing though and in always happy that those things are brought into the light so that I can change to be more of what God intends me to be in this life. So thank you for this wonderful video!

Oh darling Andrea, this was beautifully communicated. Repentance was a big revelation for me over the last year. I had to take a very long break from social media and other distractions to look inward and oh boy it wasn’t as pretty as I thought but praise God for his GRACE. There is a deeper level of faith we gain when we stop pretending and instead look to Jesus who transforms us into his on image. Sending you lots of love. ❤

This was a much needed video. I would love it if you could pray for me. I too believe I am a perfectionist and struggle with my mind and thoughts. We are fully known by him and the things he exposes that we need to work on truly remind us that we need Him.
