Did Hercules Actually Defeat Scar from The Lion King?

Me and my class were watching Percy Jackson and all my classmates discovered that we were so surprised at first, but the teacher said Hercules defeated scar because scar was the bad guy in lion King so this is the truth that all Disney movies are linked together

Well, Lion King came out years before Hercules But then Scar was killed by those hyenas, but it doesn't make sense because lions are at the top of the food chain for land animals
So what if Scar was able to survive the hyenas and was killed by Hercules
And also there's a theory that Scar ate Mufasa's body, and this is what proves it:
We know that Mufasa was killed by Scar, but we didn't see his body for very long in the film
Later, Scar is seen holding a skull which i did some research and i can confirm it looked just like a lion's skull
So what if Scar ate Mufasa's corpse?

No, Scar was already dead----Hercules didn't kill him. Remember? At the end of the Lion King, after Simba pushed Scar off the ledge, it showed the hyenas turning on him. It went to Scar's shadow and it revealed that the hyenas ate him.
